Just a few thoughts
I was surfing the web today on the topic of belly fat and came upon an interesting bit from Dr. Oz. If you aren’t familiar with Dr.Oz then you might want to google him. He has his own TV show and I believe got his start on Oprah. Anyway Dr. Oz mentioned something I hadn’t heard before. He said to calculate for heart healthy waist measurement take your height in inches divide it by 2 and that measurement would be an appropriate waist size in the prevention of metabolic disease. Too much visceral fat in the abdominal area can cause lots of health issues diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. So get out your tape measure or come in to Drop 10 and we will do it for you and measure your waist at the belly button. For example if you are 5’4” that would make you 64 inches divide by 2 and your ideal waist circumference should be 32 inches. If it’s less than that’s even better!!!
